I was wrong
by: RyanAfter writing that article on Relevant Magazine the other day, I got email from Jason Boyett, one of the authors I picked on. Apparently, I severely misread him:
And I failed big-time. Not just because you saw right through my transparent “objectivity,” but because you somehow got the idea that I’m a raging premillennialist. That I consider the LaHaye and Jenkins brand of apocalyptic thought “the correct answer.” Honestly? I hope you’re kidding.
I was really wrong. On the next podcast, we’ll talk a bit more about why I think I misread him.

Every time I read the title of this post I think of the Social Distortion song, and part of it runs through my head.
This isn’t a bad thing… I’m just sayin’. :)
In the same spirit as your plea for proper citing of stats in the Relevant Magazine Article post: you might want to footnote or cite your source for your blog banner “outchurched…the largest new demographic of “Christians” are those leaving the organization: the ‘outchurched;’” especially with statistic-y words like ‘demographic.’ :-)
