Quote of the Day

by: Ryan

Quote of the Day from Bertrand Russell:

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

I’m not saying that we’re wise, but I think Russell is right.

I am quite certain that I am full of doubt; if that is wisdom, one should not feel high and mighty to admit it…in fact those who are full of doubt would not consider wisdom something that makes them “better” than others…just more doubtful.

Bob Dylan: “I was so much younger then; I’m younger than that now.”

If I think of how f’n stupid I was ten years ago, I am reminded of how stupid I am now…I just won’t know it for another ten years.
