A Telling Image

I don’t know about you, but I find this picture to be disturbing. According to this blog post the image was originally on a web site for an organization that ‘ministers’ to soldiers. The irony is that the picture is incredibly revealing of a very wrong mentality. I haven’t spent enough time on the ‘ministry site’ to have a sense of whether they advocate “killing for Christ,” but I’ve known enough ‘Christians’ to know that it’s not a far-fringe ‘Christian’ idea.
Onward Christian Soldiers to kill all the non-believers… y’know, in the name of Jesus.
I’m just glad you guys are still alive and finally updating Outchurched…I’d give my right pinky for another episode of the Outchurched pod cast.

I think we should hold out for someone’s first born. Preferably a female one who is into chubby guys who ramble on and on. Ryan, you can fend for yourself. ;)
Further clarification: a female in the 25-40ish range. ;)
