I thought it’d be a good idea to let y’all know what’s up. We have an episode of Outchurched recorded, but impassioned apathy set in and I haven’t gotten to editing it. I will, at some point… and I’ll post it. :)
We started to record another new Outchurched but we didn’t feel particularly interested enough about the discussion that we think it’d be worth posting. We’ve hit what I’d refer to as a “funk point” and recording new podcasts has become a reduced priority for all of us. I’m happy we’ve done what we’ve done, and I hope that some of the time we invested in it does something productive for someone else, and hopefully they’re at least entertaining!
If you’re interested in picking up the torch, may I recommend/suggest that you create an account here and get goin’. It’d be great to see this continue.
I agree. While we all enjoyed our interaction, I think that we are all ready for a break. I would love to see some other people post. If youi have your own blog or podcast, email the link to us and we’ll put it up. Also, I am personally trying to compile the true stories of people who have landed “out of church” and how their journey took them there. If anyone has the time, please email me your story. I plan to rewrite the stories in the third person and post some of them. Thanks.
