I want to tell you (well, I AM telling you, but that's because I want to) that I've been looking at a lot of 'Christian' web sites. I am pretty sure they're Christian web sites because they are pretty clearly labeled as such. And as somethig of a language maven, I have been taking note of the phraseology. Every hobby or business has its buzzwords, and Christianity is no exception.

Of course, this jargon is what turns a lot of people off about Christians. In fact it plain freaks some people out. But there does not seem to be a way around it, this is deeply ingrained in the culture. It's actually a problem on many levels. It's a crutch, for one thing.

I could write for quite a while on this subject, but why am I telling you? Because there is none of this on your site. You are really on the outside looking in, aren't you? (Not that there's anyhing wrong with that.)

Anyway. Nice site.

Well, just as christians need guilt so they can be removed of guilt by christianity, so too do they need a persecution complex in order to feel righteous indignation.

There is truth to christian mockery only because it is so deserving of mockery. But no atheist has the desire, let alone the power, to "silence" christians. Atheists need christians to espouse stupidity so that atheists can point out why christianity is so stupid.

If christians realized how much atheists cherished free speech, then they would realize how absurd it is to think atheists want silenced.

But then, if christians realized any absurdities, they wouldn't be christian and the whole facade would crumble.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?
